Three Useful Macros

At this year's EMME/2 Users' Conference in Toronto, the following three EMME/2 macros were presented by their authors

VALIDNET:A network validation macro (Denis Lebeuf)
CNTPOST:Optimal location of count post links (Diane Larin)
DEMADJ:O-D matrix adjustment using observed volumes (Heinz Spiess)

These macros were made available to the EMME/2 user community for free use and diskettes were distributed at the conference. But many users who did not attend the conference might also be interested in these macros. Therefore, you will find on the following pages a short summary describing each of these macros.

Since these macros may be copied freely, you might be able to obtain a copy of the diskette from a friend who attended the conference. If not, you can also request a free copy of the diskette directly from INRO Consultants.

Note however, these macros are voluntary contributions of their authors - by no means should they be considered a part of the licenced EMME/2 software package.

We hope that this is a start which will encourage other EMME/2 users to share their macros with the rest of our user community, too.
